  Will not be going back to this "resort". Do not be fooled by the name, it is NOT a resort. It is a motel. We did not have hot water to start off with, Wifi was non existent (which the owner claimed was working fine and all the other guests had no problems with it), there was construction stuff on the back porch, no screens on either front door or back door, the water stunk of dead fish/ mildew, and the kitchen was poorly stoked. We had to buy our own drinking water, bring our own plates and utensils, use our own dish towels and clothes. Bring everything even if you think you don't need it!! The manager plays favourites with the long time guests.

  Setting and location were very nice, just in front of Wood lake. Only problem I felt was the owner probably not much into it anymore. We booked 2 cottages. One of them was in bad shape. Broken bathroom fittings, missing shower curtain, broken table leg, unsafe bunk bed ladder (screw was missing, my 5 year old son almost fell from it), stained blankets. Good thing was modest individual cottage, 2 bedrooms, has its own kitchen, microwave, fridge, full size electric stove etc but if you have a plan to cook bring your pots and utensils. Also bring drinking water. 5/6 people may stay. There are plenty open space for kids to run around, few slides, swings etc but some of them were rusty and broken. Has their own private beach and dock. Ask for a recently renovated one (e.g. number 15) when booked. I would give it a 2.5. It's not that bad comparing how much you are paying.
